Why we built it
Legacy directories are cluttered with dead listings, unverified data, and generic city-level pages. Locals deserve better — a directory that reflects the neighbourhood they actually live in, and businesses they can trust because the register says so.
Backed by the NZBN
We're building toward NZBN-backed verification. When a listing is verified, it will carry its official New Zealand Business Number — a trust signal you can check yourself on business.govt.nz.

As NZBN data rolls out, Māori-owned businesses identified on the register will get a dedicated badge and filter. Discovery for Māori-owned businesses, at no extra cost, ever.
